Football Recap: Hoopa Valley Comes Up Short

Hoopa Valley fell victim to Trinity and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a hard 17-0 fall against the Wolves. Surprisingly, this marked the Warriors' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The critical scores for Trinity came from Miller Brown and Carver Dresselhaus. Dresselhaus also deserves some recognition as he passed for his first passing touchdown of the season.

Hoopa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Trinity, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Hoopa Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ferndale at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Trinity, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-6 victory against Etna on the 26th.
