Meanwhile, East Canton narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Edison 51-48.

East Canton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Medina Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
