Football Recap: Spring Creek Skates Past South Tahoe with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Creek). They blew past the South Tahoe Vikings, posting a 55-22 victory. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

It was another big night for McCoy McArtor, who threw for 205 yards and four TDs on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 111 yards on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run. Snowdon Bear Williams was another key player, picking up 86 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Spring Creek's run defense was locked in: South Tahoe could only muster 2.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Joseph Bright for the heroic effort on defense: he. Spring Creek's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for South Tahoe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
