Rancho San Juan proved they can win big last Monday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trailblazers have posted since March 8th.

Rancho San Juan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for San Lorenzo Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.
