Softball Recap: Mariana Bracetti Academy Comes Up Short

Mariana Bracetti Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bodine Ambassadors, falling 26-20. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (ten), Mariana Bracetti Academy still had to take the loss.

Mariana Bracetti Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bodine, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Mariana Bracetti Academy will head out to challenge Penn Treaty at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.14 runs per game on average), something Mariana Bracetti Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bodine, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Carver High School of Engineering & Science at 3:15 p.m.
