Football Recap: Kennedy Catholic Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kennedy Catholic won the last time they faced Auburn and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers blew past the Trojans 47-22. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won three contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

Nikko Lecksiwilai was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 109 yards and three scores on only 15 carries. Those 109 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Brayden Seiber was another key player, picking up 97 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Kennedy Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kael Copeland and Dante Saladino.

The win (which was Kennedy Catholic's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.0 points over those games. As for Auburn, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
