Volleyball Recap: Booker T. Washington Comes Up Short

Booker T. Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mourning Sharks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-7, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Diego Machuca, who had seven digs and six aces. That's the most digs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Juan Clavijo, who had four aces.

Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Mourning, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.

Mourning has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Goleman on the 22nd. Hopefully Booker T. Washington paid attention to the Sharks' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Sharks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
