Soccer Game Preview: Dacula vs. Collins Hill

Dacula is 2-8 against Collins Hill since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Dacula challenge Collins Hill at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Dacula came up short against Mill Creek on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Aaliyah Mohammed, who's now up to 15 this season.

Meanwhile, Collins Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Pope. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Greyhounds are ranked 27th).

This is the second loss in a row for Dacula and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Collins Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Dacula suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Collins Hill in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Dacula avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
