Baseball Recap: Hinckley-Finlayson Takes a Loss

Hinckley-Finlayson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the East Central Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-7 back in April.

Ayden Arrington made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Hinckley-Finlayson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for East Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Coming up, Hinckley-Finlayson will face off against Aitkin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Central, they will challenge Barnum at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
