Baseball Game Preview: James River Midlothian Rapids vs. Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs

James River Midlothian has gone a perfect 5-0 against Richmond High School for the Arts recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rapids will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. James River Midlothian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Richmond High School for the Arts' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

James River Midlothian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Cosby on Monday. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2. The Rapids haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Richmond High School for the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against John Marshall, falling 18-3.

James River Midlothian's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
