Baseball Recap: Springer Takes a Loss

Springer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Elmore City-Pernell Badgers, falling 18-1. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat on Friday.

Springer's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Elmore City-Pernell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Badgers beat Springer by a score of 15-0 later that day.
