Softball Recap: Lanesville Eagles vs. West Washington Senators
Lanesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 9-3 to the West Washington Senators. On the bright side, the three- run effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.
Lanesville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Albers, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Those runs were Albers' first of the season.
Lanesville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West Washington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lanesville will host Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Washington, they will be playing at home against North Harrison at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
