Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask KIPP Atlanta Collegiate). Everything went their way against the Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors on Friday as the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors made off with an 86-64 win. Given KIPP Atlanta Collegiate's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Southwest Atlanta Christian is ranked 409th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laqwaun Morgan, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayvon Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 assists.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Southwest Atlanta Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jabari Burleson, who posted 11 points along with six boards and four steals. LaVence Byrd was another key player, going 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.
