Volleyball Game Preview: Royal Highlanders vs. Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots + How To Watch

The Royal Highlanders are taking a road trip to square off against the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Royal is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Garces Memorial.

Royal had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-9, 25-22, 25-18.

Academy of Our Lady of Peace had won two straight home games and Caitlin Prior did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Pilots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Arrowhead Christian thanks in part to Prior, who had five digs, four aces, and one block. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 21 or more assists the last 19 times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-16.

Royal's record now sits at 18-11. As for Academy of Our Lady of Peace, their record is now an identical 18-11.
