Nazarene Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 62-14 win over Victory Christian Academy. With the Lions ahead 62-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Nazarene Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Adams, who rushed for 232 yards and four TDs on only ten carries, and also threw for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Nazarene Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 305 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prestonwood Christian North). They blew past Lucas Christian Academy 80-32 on Friday. Prestonwood Christian North's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Nazarene Christian Academy better keep an eye on Tyler Teague. He was instrumental in Prestonwood Christian North's win, picking up 185 receiving yards and three scores, while also rushing for 32 yards and one touchdown. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Teague a new career-high. Prestonwood Christian North also got help from Julian Lewis, who showed off his sure hands for 83 receiving yards.
Prestonwood Christian North didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Lewis led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by himself.
Nazarene Christian Academy's record is now 7-4. As for Prestonwood Christian North, their record now sits at 9-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Nazarene Christian Academy has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 153.4 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Prestonwood Christian North, though, as they've been averaging only 92.8 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
