Volleyball Recap: Ionia Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Ionia had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Charlotte Orioles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 23-25, 25-16, 25-14.

Logan Thomas paced Ionia's offense, picking up 21 kills. Thomas got some help from Grace Droste and her 48 assists. Amaya Frias controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ionia's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Charlotte, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ionia is set to face off against their familiar foe Sexton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Charlotte will square off against rival Olivet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
