Basketball Recap: Loyal Comes Up Short

If Loyal was riding high fresh off their 80-11 takedown of Rosholt last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greyhounds took a 46-29 bruising from the Neillsville Warriors on Thursday. The contest marked the Greyhounds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Loyal now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Neillsville, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Loyal is set to challenge their familiar foe Columbus Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Neillsville will square off against rival Spencer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
