Charlie Hess produced his best game of the campaign on Tuesday: he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with two or fewer walks. On the season, he has been strong no matter where he plays.
