Soccer Recap: Palacios Comes Up Short

Palacios was the 1-0 winner over Calhoun when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Palacios Sharks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calhoun Sandcrabs on Friday. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palacios' loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Calhoun, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Palacios didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Hallettsville on the 4th. As for Calhoun, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against El Campo on the 4th.
