Winter Springs had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a run and slipped past the North Fort Myers Red Knights 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Tiffany Seemann spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Adison Pierce, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Lauren Daugherty, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Winter Springs' victory bumped their record up to 23-8. As for North Fort Myers, they moved to 20-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Winter Springs will take on Niceville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. North Fort Myers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
