Football Game Preview: Montcalm Generals vs. Bland County Bears

The Montcalm Generals will face off against the Bland County Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Montcalm turned things around against Richwood on Friday. They blew past the Lumberjacks 28-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bland County). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Twin Valley 52-50.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Montcalm, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Montcalm against Bland County in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 46-6 win. Do the Generals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
