Volleyball Recap: Nipmuc Regional's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

After flying high against Wachusett Regional on Monday, Nipmuc Regional came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Marlborough Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nipmuc Regional fell to 9-1. As for Marlborough, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Nipmuc Regional will square off against Leominster at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marlborough, they will take on Lexington at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The Minutemen will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
