Soccer Recap: Orosi Takes a Loss

Orosi lost against Riverdale back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Orosi Cardinals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverdale Cowboys. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Cardinals couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Brian Araujo, which was the first he's scored this season.

Orosi is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Riverdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Orosi didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Arroyo Grande on the 13th. As for Riverdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Lindsay on the 13th.
