Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Hope vs. Woonsocket

The Mt. Hope Huskies will take on the Woonsocket Villa Novans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Mt. Hope came up short against Smithfield and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Woonsocket was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-2 to Hope.

Mt. Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-3. As for Woonsocket, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Mt. Hope beat Woonsocket by a goal in their previous meeting back in October of 2016, winning 2-1. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Villa Novans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
