Upson-Lee won the last time they faced Luella and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Upson-Lee took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13.

Ema Deems paced Upson-Lee's offense, picking up five kills. Deems got some help from Kaylin Gresham and her nine assists. Gresham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 12 aces.

Upson-Lee's win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Luella, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Upson-Lee has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Mary Persons on the 9th. As for Luella, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Laurens on the 11th.
