Softball Game Preview: Nova Titans vs. Piper Bengals

Nova has gone a perfect 3-0 against Piper recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Titans will welcome the Bengals at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Nova and eight for Piper.

Nova lost 21-2 to South Plantation on Monday.

Nova saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jada Corbin, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Corbin has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Piper's offense. They came up short against South Broward on Wednesday, falling 16-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bengals seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Piper's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Nova, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Everything went Nova's way against Piper in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Nova made off with an 18-4 win. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Bengals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
