On Saturday, Emery got the W thanks in part to West Johansen playing the best basketball he has all season. Johansen dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. The performance marked the most boards he has had since back in November of 2024. He is becoming a predictor of Emery's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is undefeated (and 9-12 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Johansen and Emery will challenge Morgan at 11:10 a.m. on February 24th. The matchup will pit Johansen up against the Trojans' star power forward Mason Williams.
