Football Recap: Cleburne County Comes Up Short

Cleburne County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bullock County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 14-12 on Friday.

Although Cleburne County took the loss, they still got scores from LYRIC WARE and Cade Shubert.

Cleburne County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points on average over those games. As for Bullock County, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Cleburne County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 27-14 victory against White Plains on the 30th. As for Bullock County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 76-38 loss against Southside on the 30th.
