Volleyball Recap: Dexter Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dexter entered their tilt with Brandon on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Blackhawks with a sharp 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Dexter's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-6.

Larkin Pham paced Dexter's offense, picking up ten kills. Pham got some help from Chloe Burns and her 18 assists. Pham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Dexter's victory bumped their record up to 26-3-2. As for Brandon, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-12.

Dexter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Oxford on the 11th. As for Brandon, they will venture away from home to face off against Lake Fenton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
