Center Point extended their losing streak to six on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 4-6 in the process. They came up short against the Carver Birmingham Rams, falling 14-7. Surprisingly, this marked the Eagles' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

As for Carver Birmingham, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-13-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by seven runs or more this season.

For Carver Birmingham's part, they let Isaiah Simon and Jonathan Scott run wild. Simon went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Scott went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Carver Birmingham is 9-0-1 when Simon posts two or more runs, but 11-13 otherwise. Joshua Harris was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
