Baseball Recap: River View Extends Winning Streak to Three

River View won the last time they faced Brewster and things went their way on Monday too. River View had just enough and edged out Brewster 7-6. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

The win (which was River View's third in a row) raised their record to 5-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Brewster, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

River View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-3 win against College Place on the 31st. As for Brewster, they will welcome Okanogan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Okanogan will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
