Wesley Fannin had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 90 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 37 yards. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in September.
Bell Creek Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Cody Schlise picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Real Life Christian Academy faced Sports Leadership & Management in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Raptors breezed past the Spartans to the tune of 58-16. Considering the Raptors have won eight contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Real Life Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Bell Creek Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caleb Burden, who threw for 94 yards and six TDs, and also rushed for 92 yards and one score on only eight carries. Johnny Olson also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Real Life Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 181 rushing yards in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Bell Creek Academy's record now sits at 6-4. As for Real Life Christian Academy, their record is now 10-0.
