Baseball Recap: Woodbury Royals vs. Park Wolfpack
Woodbury let Park stack four runs on them in the seventh inning on Monday but luckily Woodbury prevailed anyway. The Royals had just enough and edged out the Wolfpack 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won eight in a row.
Gavin Dahl tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Will Haugen was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Hayden Wagner was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.
Woodbury's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Park, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
