Volleyball Game Preview: Chugiak Mustangs vs. Service Cougars + How To Watch

The Chugiak Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Service Cougars at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chugiak is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Bettye Davis East Anchorage, who was ranked 16th at the time (Chugiak was ranked third). The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Thunderbirds on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Chugiak walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25, 23-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Service beat Bartlett 3-1 on Friday.

Service was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 27-25, 25-13.

Chugiak's record now sits at 18-9. As for Service, their record is now 14-8-3.

Chugiak might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Service when the teams last played back in September. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
