Basketball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Comes Up Short

Wonewoc-Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Riverdale Chieftains, falling 53-27. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chieftains apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Wonewoc-Center's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Riverdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Wonewoc-Center has already played their next contest (against Necedah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Riverdale has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Darlington.
