Football Game Recap: Portageville vs. Malden

Portageville might have drawn first blood against Malden on Friday, but it was Malden who got the last laugh. Portageville were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 22-28 to Malden. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Portageville of the 14-42 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.

The loss dropped Portageville's record to 1-2. The win bumped Malden's record up to 1-2.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Portageville take on Chaffee at 7:00 PM. As for Malden, they will face off against Kelly.
