Baseball Recap: Washington Rams vs. La Joya Community Fighting Lobos
Washington had lost six straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 6-10 to make it seven. They fell just short of the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos by a score of 10-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on Tuesday.
Ta'Lon Heron was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run. Rylan Evans was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with three runs.
