Basketball Recap: Alto Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Alto couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a hard 55-41 fall against the Gary Bobcats on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 91-53 back in November of 2024.

Alto's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Gary, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 27-8.

Alto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gary, they will challenge Martins Mill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Martins Mill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Gary likes a good challenge.
