Volleyball Recap: Boise Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Eagle + How To Watch

Boise faced Eagle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Brave fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The Brave have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Boise started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 14-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-21, 15-6.

Katelyn Huck and Delaney Hamilton certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Huck had 17 digs and two aces, while Hamilton had six digs and one assist. Huck is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Lucy Miller also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Eagle was led to victory by Ellie McManigal and Emme Higley. McManigal had 28 digs and three assists, while Higley had 12 digs and three aces. That's the most digs McManigal has posted since back in October of 2024.

Boise's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Eagle, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-12.

As of now, neither Boise nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
