Softball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Corbett Cardinals. Even if the Pirates couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Corbett, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Riverside will be playing in front of their home fans against McLoughlin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Corbett, they will venture away from home to take on Vernonia at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
