Basketball Recap: Benton Central Bison vs. Covington Trojans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Washington, Benton Central was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They skirted past the Covington Trojans 54-51. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bison as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Austin Stein, who posted 14 points. Landon Herzog was another key player, putting up seven points and ten rebounds.
