Volleyball Recap: Henry Clay Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Henry Clay was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lexington Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lexington Catholic Knights on Tuesday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Henry Clay ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-27, 25-17, 25-21.

Henry Clay's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Lexington Catholic, they pushed their record up to 27-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Coming up, Henry Clay will square off against West Jessamine at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lexington Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
