Baseball Recap: Fallston Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Fallston got themselves on the board against Rising Sun on Wednesday, but Rising Sun never followed suit. They blew past the Tigers 11-0. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by nine runs or more this season.

Reese Conley was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ben Kersch, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ethan Slicher, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI.

Fallston lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
