Basketball Recap: Willow Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Doyle, Willow was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against Haynes Academy by a score of 42-31. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 48-8 win Haynes Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Willow is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Haynes Academy, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Willow Lions challenge the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Willow is facing Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy at the right time seeing as Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Haynes Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
