Volleyball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

Scott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Frederick Douglass Broncos.

Despite the loss, Scott saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emory Sullivan had 13 digs and two assists.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Frederick Douglass, they moved to 6-12 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Scott has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Portland on the 27th. As for Frederick Douglass, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against West Jessamine at 7:30 p.m. on October 7.
