Volleyball Recap: Bemidji Takes a Loss

Bemidji was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fillmore Central Falcons. The Lumberjacks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Josie Corson was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and one assist. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 16 times she's played.

Bemidji's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Fillmore Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-6.

Bemidji does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fillmore Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Belle Plaine on the 18th.
