Football Recap: David Emanuel Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

David Emanuel Academy lost against Sherwood Christian Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. David Emanuel Academy had to suffer through a 63-6 loss at the hands of Sherwood Christian Academy. David Emanuel Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

Richard Braddy threw for 103 yards and one TD. Ben Griner was his top target, picking up 59 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Revan Fortner rushed for 28 yards.

Leading Sherwood Christian Academy to victory were Chuck Lagrange and Tripp Roberts. Lagrange gained 241 total yards, while Roberts threw for 302 yards and five touchdowns. Roberts is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Qwinton Murray was Roberts' top target, picking up 125 receiving yards and three scores.

This is the second loss in a row for David Emanuel Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, their record is now 5-0.
