Basketball Game Preview: Harlandale Indians vs. South San Antonio Bobcats

The Harlandale Indians will challenge the South San Antonio Bobcats at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Harlandale is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Harlandale is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since November 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Southside by a score of 48-45. The game was a 25-25 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, South San Antonio lost 43-23 to MacArthur on Tuesday. The contest marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

South San Antonio has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season. As for Harlandale, their record is now 10-13.

Harlandale beat South San Antonio 63-51 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harlandale since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
