Basketball Recap: Christian Community Skates Past Lighthouse Christian with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christian Community). They claimed a resounding 72-2 win over the Lighthouse Christian Lions . The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 54-0.

Christian Community found their leader in sophomore Autumn Ray, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ray has scored all season. Another player making a difference was M.J. Dodd, who posted eight points in addition to nine assists and four steals.

Christian Community was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Christian Community's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lighthouse Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Christian Community won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lancaster Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lighthouse Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge South Haven Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
