Football Recap: Weston Ranch Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Weston Ranch extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were beaten by the West Wolfpack 35-7. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Christian Widdicombe threw for 138 yards and one TD. Jaysiah Arrington was his top target, picking up 67 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Jonathan Newsome rushed for 43 yards.

West's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ethan Morris and Ryder Harmison. Morris rushed for 125 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries while Harmison rushed for 53 yards and one TD on only six carries. Harmison also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending one pass.
